Georgia Elaine Marshall
January 18, 1958--June 9, 2023 (age 65)
Georgia Elaine Marshall, Jo to many, passed peacefully Friday, June 9, 2023, after a long battle with colon cancer. She was surrounded by family in a love-filled home.
Georgia was born January 18, 1958, in Hood River, Oregon. She resided in Oregon most of her life, most recently calling Pendleton, Oregon, home.
She was united in holy matrimony to Robert “Bob” Marshall, Jr., on April 5, 1975, and they were sealed for all eternity in the Seattle Washington Temple on February 14, 1981.
Georgia became a mother young and raised her five children to value time together more than anything.
At an early age she professed her faith in Jesus Christ and was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served faithfully as a member of the Church, and for many years was blessed to work among the children of her Church.
Georgia actively attended American Cancer Society events. Her involvement in her church and community allowed her to be known and loved by many and her loving, spirited personality to impact many lives.
Her life was as beautiful as the world she surrounded herself with. She is remembered by many to be found among the mountains and lakes she frequently visited and could often be found camping and fishing alongside her family and friends. Georgia worked many years as a florist and was very talented at creating beautiful arrangements that many people were blessed to enjoy. Before passing, she petitioned her friends and family to look for her among the tulips.
Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children, whom she is survived by: Robert Marshall, III; Michelle Marshall King; IvaMay Marshall Tallaman; Joshua Marshall; and Jeremy Marshall. She is also survived by her darling husband, Bob Marshall; her two brothers, Donny Springer and Jeffrey Springer; her daughters-in-law, Traci Marshall, Shiloh Marshall, and Jaqueline Marshall; her sons-in-law, Shaylin King and James “Jimmy” Russel; as well as her fourteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held at Pendleton Pioneer Chapel on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Pendleton Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day-Saints at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 15, 2023.
