Faye E (Corum) Hamman
October 10, 1942--August 16, 2022 (age 79)

Faye E. Hamman of Hermiston, Oregon, was born on October 10, 1942 in Pendleton, Oregon to parents Clinton and Lavona Veach Corum. She died on August 16, 2022 in Hermiston, Oregon at the age of 79 years. Faye was raised and attended school in Hermiston, Oregon, graduating in the Hermiston High School class of 1960. She worked at the original Hermiston Dairy Queen for her father. Faye married Ralph Tassie and they had 3 sons, Kevin, Rick and Scott before divorcing. During this time she operated the Kiddi Korner for several years and at the same time worked as a cashier at Bob's Red Apple Market for 30 years. She married Bob McAhren, he preceded her in death in 2004. Faye married Michael "Mike" Hamman on August 21, 2010 in Hermiston, Oregon. She was a former member of the Hermiston Eagles Lodge. Faye enjoyed horses, cats, gardening, camping and most of all time with her family.

She is survived by her husband: Mike Hamman, Hermiston, OR; sons: Kevin Tassie, Hermiston, OR and Rick Tassie and wife Dana, Hermiston, OR; daughter-in-law: Kerry Tassie, Hermiston, OR; sister: Sharon Dedrick, Hermiston, OR; 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Faye was preceded in death by her son: Scott Tassie and her parents.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 22, 2022 at 10:00 am at Olney Cemetery, Pendleton, Oregon.
