Steven Anthony Cappello
November 16, 1963--September 15, 2022 (age 58)

Steven Anthony Cappello played his final farewell to this world in the early hours of September 15th, 2022. He made his final bow peacefully in his home. For those lucky enough to know he was the frontman of a band or two before he became the professional rehabilitation facilitator many have come to know him as today. Steve was born on November 16th, 1963 in San Bernardino, CA to Joanna and Salvatore Cappello. Steve is survived by many loving individuals, including his wife, Marla, his sons, Aden, Griffen and his stepchildren Hailey and Jye. In addition he leaves behind four fur babies, Nigel, Vernie, Aerie and Chloe, and his desktop companion fish, La'fayette Slim. From Steve's humble beginning as a shoe shiner in front of his dad's barbershop, Steve ultimately found his career as a counselor in corrections for the last 26 years where he made many friends.

Steve was a man of many passions and hobbies. He had more hobbies and joys than there was time in the day and he always had a new one on the horizon. Just a few of these were cycling, music, sports, art, and history. If it caught Steve's interest he would learn and pursue what he could. One thing Steve was always known for was his thoughtfulness, whether it was a one of a kind gift or an experience he wanted to share, he always took the time to make his interactions meaninful. His passion and thirst for knowledge and sharing knowledge will be missed.

Services for this one of a kind man will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at Pendleton Pioneer Chapel, Folsom-Bishop with burial to follow at Olney Cemetery.
