Penny Leigh Surran
September 26, 1960--December 8, 2022

Penny Leigh Surran, 62, unexpectedly passed away on Dec. 8, 2022.

She was born Sept. 26, 1960, in Tacoma, Washington, the daughter of the late Carlos Madden and Nancy Sanchez, and stepfather, Juan Sanchez.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her aunt, Melody Haselden; twin brothers, Gary Lee, Jerry Lee; Stefani, Arlene and Johnny Sanchez; children, Montez Melgoza, Stephanie Markle, Tenisha Waugh, Edward Waugh; nephew, Steven Lee; niece, Brandee Lee; 17 grandchildren, three great-granddaughters, and many other family members.

A service was held Thursday, Dec. 15 at 2 p.m., at Olney Cemetery in Pendleton.
