O'Linda Louise Becker
May 6, 1946--March 6, 2023

O'Linda Louise Becker, 76, of La Grande, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2023 at Grande Ronde Hospital. At her request, there will be no service.

O'Linda was born on May 6, 1946 in Pendleton, Oregon to Oscar and Florence (Butonschoen) Ahner. She resided in Pendleton, OR; Springfield, OR and La Grande, OR. She graduated from Thurston High School in Springfield, OR.

O'Linda's greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed crafting and most recently, began crocheting scarves and lap blankets for veterans at the VA Medical Center and making hats and scarves for school children in Wise River, Montana. She donated handmade items to the local Union County 4-H Auction Fundraiser each year.

O'Linda is survived by her children, Barbara Phillips of Marcola, OR, Eric Phillips (Louise) of La Grande, OR, and Lucas Phillips (Jessica) of Divide, MT; brother Fred Ahner (Sharon) of Redmond, OR; sister, Pauline Martin (Gary) of Milton-Freewater, OR; 8 grandchildren, Chris Phillips, Matt Phillips, Elizabeth Worst, Victoria Phillips, Andrew Simons, Franklin Phillips, Eric Phillips, and Kayla Phillips; 6 great grandchildren; 5 nieces and nephews and numerous aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Florence; brothers, Paul Ahner and Tony Ahner.
