Matthew "Matt" Roy Malcolm

Matthew "Matt" Roy Malcolm, age 48, passed away on January 31, 2023, in Pendleton, OR. He was born on October 21, 1974 in Pendleton to Judy (Harman) and Chuck Malcolm.

After graduating from Pendleton High School, he worked in construction and excelled to the level of project superintendent. Matt loved the outdoors and was active in many hobbies including hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, golfing and many more.

Matt was always quick with a jokes and a good time and will be especially remembered for his passion and skill in smoking and BBQ-ing various meats. He often talked about his vision to have his own meat and smoking business.

Matt was preceded in death by his father, Chuck Malcolm. Matt is survived by his mother, Judy Malcolm; his two sisters Kristi (Mike) Lapp, Kathy (AC) Reeves; and his four children of whom he was very proud, Connor Malcolm, Tanner (Tori) Malcolm, McKenzie Malcolm, and Morgan Malcolm; and one grandchild, Oaklynn.
